CONTACT MINDY
Post-punk blues trio Mindy Sins is a collaborative, ear defiling art project in an old school rock trio format. Led by frontman Armando Leibeck, Mindy Sins is based in Mississauga, Ontario and is made up of Humber College jazz school musicians who share a love for the lineage of rock and roll.
Founded in July 2021, the concept of the band formed due to their shared interest of playing the blues. By the fall, Mindy Sins united in Toronto to record their debut record Modern Cowboy in a single day. As the shows got heavier, the music followed suit, inspired by the nostalgia of acts such as Motley Crue, Van Halen, Billy Talent, and System of a Down while bleeding into the SRV/ZZ Top Texas Blues style the band is known for.
Since the release of “Modern Cowboy” the group’s work has clearly resonated with audiences across Canada, Mexico, Latin America and beyond, with their following debut single “Give Me Your Love” earning coverage in international and national press.
Mindy Sins latest live off the floor video series The Union Floor LIVE stands out as a demonstration of the bands deep musical abilities, raunchy musical tastes, and creative consciousness to blend genres without losing the fundamental aspects that they are known for.
